How can we harness the latest technology to solve an age old problem? Using blockchain to unchain slave labour. This small project grew into a movement that is now supported by the United Nations.

A handy icon

We created this logo from scratch, weaving in the idea of a helping hand. If you look closely you'll make out the brand's 4 letters in the icon. We wanted to create a strong emblem for a serious issue.

Tasked with building a site which clearly explained how blockchain technology could help migrant workers, we set about designing a simple, powerful design language to communicate how visitors could help.

Block by block

Using strong graphic blocks, a nod toward the underlying blockchain technology, and card based user interface to show the steps to slavery. This shape also allowed us to step out how users could join the fight against this practice. We developed the wandering arrow to represent the journey migrant workers take to find jobs that can support their loved ones back home.
